First, Second and Third Year students exhibited their creative works of art in Cork Institute of Technology’s James Barry Exhibition Centre from April 12th to 15th as part of the Cork Lifelong Learning Festival.
Pupils from St Vincent’s and eight other Access Linked Cork city and county secondary schools were challenged to design and create unique artworks that visually expressed links between their education and possible future career paths. Art works on display included paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography and ceramics.
Congratulations to all our artists and most especially to Andrea Broderick Hayes (2nd Yr) winner of the School’s Prize; Sabrina Alom (1st Yr) and Juliet Malone (1st Yr) joint winners of the U15 Individual Highly Commended Prize.
