Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Year Art students were treated to a great day out recently when they travelled to Newgrange to visit the Newgrange Neolithic Stone Age Passage Grave. Students were accompanied by Art teacher Ms. J. Neill. They had a guided tour of the site where they explored the wonderful Stone Age art engravings. They also viewed the mysterious burial chamber which the students were told has not left in a drop of rain in over five thousand years.
