Huge credit to our Transition Year students for their hard work on this project before the school closure.
The students and staff worked so hard and we are delighted that the leaflet will now be distributed with the Meals on Wheels service in the city!

We are moving to Edmodo

26/3/2020

Over the next few days many of your teachers are tranferring their classwork over to Edmodo. Edmodo allows you as a student to more easily keep track of your schoolwork. It will also allow you the opportunity to make contact with your teachers much more easily.

Teachers will probably post work every day or so. This will allow you time to complete the work and ask any questions you may have to your teacher. It is your responsibilty to keep up with the work that passed on from your teachers. It is also your responsibilty to ask a question when you are stuck on something or unsure what you need to do.

Your most important responsibilty is to ensure you try your best to complete the work assigned. We expect that you will do your best and we know that you can do great things.

A number of your teachers have already set up Padlets or Google classroom accounts and they may stay on these platforms. A very small number of teachers may continue to email work out directly to you.

As a student you can access Edmodo via an app or through www.edmodo.com. If you look through the homework postings you will see that many teachers have already provided an access code for their Edmodo classroom.
  • Step 1: Download the Edmodo app and register as a student.
  • Step 2: Use the classroom code for your class to gain access to your Edmodo class.
  • Step 3: When you have accessed all the classes you will be able to see what school work your teacher is posting and you can directly contact them with any questions.

When all the Edmodo classes are set up by your teachers a full list will be posted on this website.

We intend to contact all parents directly over the next few days to ensure that all students are accessing and completing their school work

Stay safe, look after your family and wash your hands!
