First year students and fifth year geography students recently enjoyed a trip to the west of Ireland. They visited the famous Cliffs of Moher and the Ailwee Caves. They experienced the famous birds of prey show and they also got to experience walking on the clints and grikes in the Karst region of the Burren landscape and even visited a portal dolmen.
The students enjoyed visiting these natural features, which were brought to life by the trip. Students said that reading and looking at pictures in text books did not prepare them for how beautiful the features were.
Thanks to Ms. O'Sullivan, Mr. Lynch, Ms. Fitzgerald and Ms. Klekotka Magner who organised the trip.
