The Annual St. Vincent's Awards Ceremony recognised students for excellence in all aspects of school life – academic & sporting, cultural & personal, curricular & co-curricular. The focus of the evening was on the celebration of the special talents, gifts and abilities of St. Vincent's students.
The Principal, Katherine Bulman paid tribute to the professionalism, hard work and dedication of the SVSS staff, both teaching and non-teaching, for their support of the students. She recognised the central role of parents in supporting the work of the school in the education process. She expressed her appreciation to the many friends and sponsors for their support.
Guest speaker on the night was past pupil Lieutenant Aisling O’Flynn, Military Assistant to Flag Officer, Commanding Naval Service, who gave an inspiring address.
The St. Vincent's Community Award was presented to the school's Business in the Community Partners, RR Donnelley.
Awards coordinator for the evening was Carmel Day.
